National Park Association
The NPA works with national parks worldwide to help keep these places safe for animals and plants and to protect against common issues faced such as poaching.

The NPA offers membership to national parks globally, which gives these organizations access to a large library of resources and regular events as well as plentiful networking opportunities. NPA membership is completely free of charge for not-for-profit national parks, though for-profit entities must pay a fee of $1,000 per year for NPA membership.

NPA members may apply for NPA accreditation, which includes a detailed review of a specific national park and includes a site visit. Following initial NPA accreditation, a national park has a full accreditation review every 8 years.

Initial accreditation and subsequent accreditation reviews are free of charge for not-for-profit national parks, though travel and lodging costs for inspectors must be covered by the organization. For-profit national parks must pay a $1,200 fee for initial accreditation (as well as travel and lodging costs for inspectors) and must pay a $600 fee for all subsequent full accreditation reviews.
